Kenig, Lindgren, O’Hara, Aboona, Inc. (KLOA, Inc.) has served as a transportation planning/traffic engineering consultant for the University of Illinois at Chicago for more than 20 years, and has provided services for both the east and west campuses. - 2010 UIC Campus Master Plan (2010). Prepared the transportation component of the campus master plan and assisted on the parking component of the plan as a member of the Booth Hansen project team.
- UIC South Campus Mixed-Use Development (2002-2005). Provided traffic engineering and parking and pedestrian planning services for the University Village project developed by Harlem-Irving Companies and Mesirow-Stein. • Mid-Block Crosswalk and Traffic Signal Design Services (2016-2017). Prepared design plans for a consolidated and signalized pedestrian crossing on W. Harrison Street at Turner Gate/ Halsted-UIC CTA Station.
- Traffic Signal Warrant Studies (2014-2018). Prepared traffic signal warrant studies/multiway stop studies for the W. Harrison Street pedestrian crossing at Turner Gate, W. Van Buren Street/S. Peoria Street intersection, and W. Taylor Street/S. Wood Street intersection.
- UIC Pavilion Truck Dock Access Improvement Plan (2016). Developed concept plans to reconfigure the median on W. Harrison Street.
- Traffic Impact Study for Maxwell Street Parking Garage (2001).
- UIC Campus Parking Study (1997).
- Traffic Signal Design Services (2021). Prepared signal design plans for the Halsted Street/Maxwell Street intersection.
- Rochford Street Traffic Evaluation (2012). Evaluated design scenarios for Rochford Street between Halsted Street and Union Avenue.
