Eric is a Principal of KLOA, Inc. with more than 25 years of experience managing traffic, transportation, and parking planning and engineering assignments for counties, municipalities, school districts, universities and medical centers, and private developments of every type of land use. Projects have included multimodal transportation plans and corridor studies, traffic impact studies, parking demand and shared parking studies, transportation management plans, school circulation and safety studies, roadway geometric concept plans, parking facility layout, wayfinding sign and pavement marking plans, traffic simulation and operations analysis, freeway access studies, traffic signal design and warrant studies, origin-destination studies, pedestrian infrastructure design plans, and bicycle facility planning.
Eric also regularly appears as an expert witness at public hearings. Eric received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and Master of Business Administration in Real Estate Development from George Washington University.
Eric is a registered professional engineer in Illinois, is certified as a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer, Professional Transportation Planner, and Traffic Signal Operations Specialist, and is a LEED Accredited Professional in Neighborhood Development. Eric is also a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) and the American Planning Association (APA).
